GSA/Jonesville Soccer Complex Use/Reservation

Pursuant to an Agreement between Alachua County and the Gainesville Soccer Alliance, Inc., (GSA), Gainesville Soccer Alliance maintains the management rights of the Jonesville Soccer Complex. This agreement was put in place when GSA funded a large portion of the field construction. The agreement allows GSA to charge for field use and manage use of the Jonesville Soccer Complex. Attached is the approved County Fee Schedule, the Jonesville Use Request/ Use Agreement Form, and the Alachua County Park Rules (Ordinance 98-14).

I. Public Use of Fields 1 and 6
While public use is allowed on a portion of the park fields, specifically fields 1 and 6, public use cannot circumvent the payment of fees. Public use must meet two criteria: (1) “unstructured” use and (2) unorganized groups. Any structured use by the public and/or any use by organized groups is subject to the fee schedule. Public access is limited to the two eastern fields alongside the fence when the fields are not closed for GSA games, GSA training, field reservations, and field maintenance/renewal. The two eastern fields – fields 1 and 6 - are open at the discretion of GSA. Use or closure of fields 1 and/or 6 or does not allow the public to use other areas of the Jonesville Soccer Complex.

II. Reservations of Fields 1-6
To request use of the fields, a completed Jonesville Use Request should be submitted at least 6 weeks prior to an event to the GSA Director of Competition identified at gainesvillesoccer.org. Upon preliminary approval by GSA, the requesting party must submit a 50% deposit with proof of Certificate of Insurance two weeks prior to the event. Requests with less time advance may be given less consideration. Approval of the Request will dependent upon multiple factors including but not limited to the priorities/schedules of the Gainesville Soccer Alliance, the promotion of soccer in Alachua County, field conditions, scheduled field maintenance, projected weather patterns and other existing field reservations. The balance of the payment for use is due “in GSA’s hand” 72 hours prior to onset of the field use.

All field use is subject to the Alachua County Park Rules set forth in Ordinance 98-14 of the Board of County Commissioners, Alachua County, Florida.
